COBRA and NEEM TREE

             Neem tree and King Cobra

Once upon a time, in the dense forests of India, there stood a large neem tree. The tree was over a hundred years old and had grown to be one of the largest trees in the forest. The neem tree was home to many creatures, including a family of squirrels, a family of birds, and a colony of ants. However, there was one creature that the neem tree feared the most, and that was the king cobra.

One day, as the neem tree was basking in the sun, it noticed a king cobra slithering towards it. The neem tree knew that the king cobra was one of the deadliest snakes in the forest and was known for its venomous bite. The neem tree tried to move its branches to scare the snake away, but the king cobra was not deterred.

The king cobra lunged at the neem tree and bit one of its branches. The neem tree felt a sharp pain as the venom from the king cobra's bite began to spread through its trunk. The neem tree knew that it was in danger and needed help.

The neem tree decided to seek revenge against the king cobra. It knew that it could not fight the snake alone, so it called upon the help of the ants that lived on its trunk. The neem tree asked the ants to bite the king cobra whenever it came near the tree.

The ants agreed to help the neem tree and laid a trap for the king cobra. They built a nest on the neem tree's trunk and waited for the king cobra to come near. When the king cobra approached the neem tree, the ants attacked it, biting the snake all over its body.

The king cobra retreated, hissing in pain, and never came near the neem tree again. The neem tree was relieved that it no longer had to fear the king cobra and was grateful to the ants for their help.

The neem tree realized that revenge was not the answer to its problems. Although it had succeeded in getting rid of the king cobra, it had also caused harm to another creature. The neem tree understood that it was important to find a peaceful solution to conflicts rather than resorting to violence.

The neem tree learned an important lesson from its encounter with the king cobra. It realized that revenge only leads to more violence and does not solve any problems. Instead, it is better to find a peaceful solution to conflicts, even if it means compromising and making sacrifices.

The neem tree made a promise to itself to live in harmony with all the creatures in the forest, including the king cobra. It understood that all creatures had a role to play in the ecosystem and that every creature deserves respect and compassion.

And so, the neem tree continued to thrive in the forest, living in peace and harmony with all the creatures around it. The lesson it had learned from its encounter with the king cobra stayed with it for the rest of its long life, and it passed on the message of peace and compassion to all the creatures that lived under its branches.
